GORGEOUS 1917 P SILVER LIBERTY WALKING HALF DOLLAR THAT I GRADE BU UNC ++++. A BEAUTIFUL SMOOTH SUFACE WITH NICE ORIGINAL LUSTER. WEAK STRIKE ON THE SKIRT LINES, BUT GOOD EAGLE DETAILS ON THE REVERSE. THESE EARLY WALKING LIBERTIES ARE REALLY GETTING TOUGH TO FIND THIS NICE!
THIS COIN IS ALREADY 98 YEARS OLD. THIS IS A NICE COIN. LOOK AT THE PICTURES PROVIDED. Therefore I have to revert to the old grading system that was insufficient to grade uncirculated coins.
I have therefore come up with my own grading system for uncirculated coins. Unc is the lowest grade uncirculated coin that is brown in color. BU UNC is the lowest grade uncirculated coin that is red brown in color or red in color. I add a + to those grades for each grade higher the coin might be.Thus BU UNC + is the next grade up from the lowest uncirculated grade and so on. BU UNC ++ is yet another grade higher. Thus the highest grade I could list would be BU UNC ++++++++++. Proof coins the same way except the grade is PROOF, PROOF +, ETC.
